Upcoming Projects
Centered on Muslim Indo-Caribbean Heritage Day (October 11) and our ongoing Documentary and Book Anthology unpacking what it means to be Muslim Indo-Caribbean.

Muslim Indo-Caribbean Heritage Day
Coined by Karimah Rahman, October 11 marks the anniversary of Indian Arrival Day and is observed during both Islamic Heritage Month and Caribbean Heritage Month.
Rather than centering the colonial holiday of Indian Arrival Day, Muslim Indo-Caribbean Heritage Day celebrates and roots our story in resistance to colonization and decolonization — amplifying voices too often invisibilized in both Muslim and Caribbean spaces.
Documentary: Unapologetically Muslim Indo-Caribbean
A documentary unpacking the multiplicity and nuanced wide range of intersectional identities, positionalities, and lived experiences behind being Muslim Indo-Caribbean.
Book Anthology: Unapologetically Muslim Indo-Caribbean
A companion anthology unpacking what being Muslim Indo-Caribbean means to you, in your own words and voice.
